LOMB Cost

There are two ways to pay for LOMB.

  1. Make payments to LOBB via check mailed to:

  2. Pay via Credit Card with a 3% processing fee through your students CUT TIME account.

What does the cost cover?

  • MCBA competition entry fees

  • 4 in state competitions & 1 out of state competition, including travel costs & State Finals at FORD FIELD!!!!

  • Band camp (including room, board, travel, and entertainment)

  • Show composition (music and drill) which is customized to LOMB’s size and instrumentation

  • Music royalties and copyright fees

  • Instructor salaries

  • Uniforms

  • Supply a portion of food and drinks

  • Shirts!

    • 1 Show Shirt

    • 2 practice shirts

    • 1 section shirt

    • 1 parade shirt

  • Dot book and music binder

LOMB Cost $1,100

The LOBB makes every effort to minimize costs throughout the entire season. How?

FUNDRAISERS!

We hold multiple fundraisers throughout the year. The more successful fundraisers we host, the easier it is to keep marching costs as low as possible.

To that end, we expect all families to donate time, respond to calls for food or supply donations, and participate in all fundraising activities.

It takes a village.

 

Payment Schedule Details

  • May 1st

    • Forms due

    • Insurance Cards due

    • Ford Field waiver form due

    • First payment due.

    • $50 chaperone fee due.

    • Non-refundable $200.
      We use this fee to hire show writers for the season with music and drill written specifically for your student based on their skill level. This fee is applied toward your total marching band cost and is due no later than May 1st. This payment plus the required forms secures your student’s spot in the LOMB program.

  • June 1st

    • Second payment due.

  • July 1st

    • Third payment due.

    • No refunds will be given after this point.

    • Up to $200 voucher points accepted.

    • Apparel payment due (gloves/shoes/etc)

  • August 1st

    • Fourth payment due.

    • Up to $200 voucher points accepted.

    • $75 Instrument Usage Fee due (if applicable)

  • September 1st

    • Fifth payment due.

    • Up to $200 voucher points accepted.

  • October 1st

    • Final payment due.

    • Your account must be fully paid in order to participate in State Finals at Ford Field.

  • November 1st

    • Student accounts not paid in full will not be able to participate in ANY Winter programs and will be prohibited to participate in the following years of marching band.
